No Pakistani to be included in IPL players’ auction: Modi

NEW DELHI: Chairman Indian Premier League (IPL) Lalit Modi confirmed Monday that no Pakistani players would be included in the IPL players’ auction slated for February 6 in Goa.An Indian TV channel quoted Modi saying that Pakistan’s Foreign Office has advised national cricketers not to travel to India in the prevailing situation following the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. Pakistan Cricket Board also confirmed that national players have been instructed by the foreign ministry to cancel their trip to India on security grounds.Modi said that he would not include any Pakistani cricketer in the auction
