Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga has been included in the squad for the Twenty20 international against India.
Malinga returns to international cricket after an absence of nearly a year due to a knee injury. The selectors though have rested key players including captain Mahela Jayawardene and Muttiah Muralitharan for the one off T20 international.
The Selection committee also named a 15-man Test Squad for the 2 match series in Pakistan. The selectors have included 2 newcomers in Batsman Tharanga Paranavitana and fast bowler Suranga Lakmal into the squad
